The  Austrian National Team suffered a 1:3 (26:28, 18:25, 25:23, 19:25)-loss in the first of two away games against Greece on Friday. The OEVV-selection hopes to surprise once again against the tough opponent to wrap up the European League-season.

“The way the team has developed in the last couple of weeks, we could have accomplished more today. We committed unnecessary mistakes today. A lot of the players probably are not ready for the heavy workload at the end of a long season, as it’s the first time for them. We still want to muster the necessary energy on Saturday. We’ll see what happens”, said Headcoach Michael Warm after the game.
